Scholarship Orientation 2026

On February 7, 2026, LBTO officially launched the 2026 Scholarship Program with an exciting and heartfelt orientation gathering in Seoul, welcoming 20 new scholarship recipients into the LBTO family.

The atmosphere throughout the day was filled with anticipation, encouragement, and hope as students met one another, learned about the program, and began a new chapter in their educational and personal journeys. Several returning 2025 scholars also joined the orientation to share their experiences, accomplishments, and words of encouragement with the new students — creating a powerful reminder of the growth and transformation that is possible through perseverance, community, and support.

Many of the new scholars shared afterward that they felt genuinely welcomed, inspired, motivated, and excited to be part of LBTO. For some, it was one of the first times they had experienced such intentional encouragement and affirmation regarding their future goals and dreams.

The LBTO Scholarship Program is designed not only to provide financial support, but also to encourage responsibility, leadership, personal growth, and community involvement. Scholars commit to maintaining accountability through monthly updates, volunteer service, participation in enrichment programs, involvement in the Move On Fair, attendance at the annual Summer Workshop, and continued dedication to academic and personal growth.

One especially unique and highly valued aspect of the program is the opportunity for students to learn and practice English, which continues to inspire and attract highly motivated young adults eager to expand their opportunities and confidence.

This year’s scholars are pursuing an impressive variety of career paths and dreams, including law, political science, social work, art education, physical therapy, ultrasound technology, advertising, public service, and preparation for national certification exams. Their determination, resilience, and ambition are truly inspiring.

Many of these young adults have spent much of their lives navigating challenges with limited support or encouragement. Through the LBTO Scholarship Program, they are reminded that they are not alone — that there are people who believe in them, support them, and are committed to walking alongside them as they pursue their goals.

Because of your faithful support, these young adults are gaining not only educational opportunities, but also confidence, community, hope, and a renewed belief in their future.
